Half Man

This project presented me with consistent challenges that stretched my abilities and pushed me to grow. I embarked on learning animation AND music recording, and embracing discomfort as a pathway to personal and creative development. All the music you hear in this project was recorded without the aid of studio engineering, and without relying on multiple tracks. Instead, I captured every sound through field recordings, ensuring a raw and authentic auditory experience. The animations were a labor of love; each frame hand-drawn on multiple sheets of paper, meticulously scanned into the computer, color-corrected, and painstakingly animated cell by cell using editing software. This project reflects my dedication to exploring new techniques and mediums, AND growing as an artist through each hurdle.
